WELCOME to an INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY BUILDING PROJECT  -- Open to all!!

Long Island Focusing Center invites you to join us as we share our thoughts and feelings and build international connections around the world. 

HISTORY
This special project grew out of our work introducing FOCUSING to nursery school classes in our local area. 

Children and educators were invited to express their feelings on fabric squares. 

Once the squares were completed, we collected them and sewed them together creating a quilt. The quilt was shared with each class that participated in the project.  It was then displayed in the school for all to see.   Photos of each square and the quilt were given to each participant.

Next, the quilt was taken to Israel and shared with parents, educators and other professionals at the 19th Focusing International Conference.

We hope to continue this project throughout the world.
