Creative Journaling for Children and Adults

Individual sessions in person and over the phone are also available. For more information, please contact our main office.

For Children:
Join us as we learn how to explore and express our thoughts and feelings in a new and exciting way through art, song, movement, and creative journaling.

Students will create a travel log/journal from their experience. Art materials will be provided.

Children will learn how to:

  • Welcome and identify their thoughts and  feelings
  • Appreciate and express their thoughts and feelings in a healthy way
  • Gain self knowledge
  • Enhance listening and communication skills
  • Navigate “challenging” situations
  • Develop empathy and respect for themselves and others

Each workshop is complete in itself. For more practice in developing skills you can register for a series of workshops.

Each session is adapted to meet the needs of the individual and group.

Educators and adults will:

  • Develop new ways of listening to yourself, family, students, and colleagues
  • Learn new ways to approach and navigate any situation
  • Discover new action steps in creative and work projects
  • Find fresh ways to support your ideas and track your journey
  • Discover the richness in your thinking
  • Explore the shape, color and texture of language

Please contact our main office for fees, schedules, and to arrange for individual/group sessions in our Woodbury office or at your school/location.
